Blue bird days with Jossi, Janina and Stef
Join Olympians Jossi Wells, Janina Kuzma, and Stef Zeestraten as they explore the Southern Alps with epic powder, stunning views, and unforgettable heli-skiing adventures!
It's hard not to appreciate the epic, wild beauty of the Southern Alps, add in a helicopter, fresh powder and some incredible guides and you have a day some only dream of. We thought who would love to explore this more than some of our home grown NZ ski and snowboard talent. None other than fellow Olympians Jossi Wells and Janina Kuzma, and ripper Stef Zeestraten joined us in August for a charter day of powder turns, epic lines and endless good times.
As always the day started out with a briefing over at our staging area before the crew were flown deep into our mountains to be guided by former NZ Freeride stars Geoff Small and Tony “Grom” McCutcheon. The crew worked the early morning light above Lake Wanaka before hitting the steeps of Triple Peak and Mt Alta. Shooting with renowned Queenstown photographer Miles Holden. The experienced crew said it was one of the most epic heli shoots they had been on, and lets face it - these pictures sure prove that! Often found in the park and pipe, Jossi, Janina and Stef seemed to love these big mountain turns equally as much as their daily stomping ground!
